Model developed includes
- Self study correspondence course is approved for 140 contact hours, which is equivalent to 14 Continuing Education Units
- Successful completion of clinical practicum provides an additional 160 hours (16 CEUs)
- You must complete the correspondence course prior to beginning the clinical practicum.
The Nurse Refresher program is for registered nurses (RNs) who have at some time been licensed in one of the 50 states.
Important Information
- You may enroll at anytime during the year. You
can select either online or correspondence for the
theory portion of this course.
- Cost of the program is $875.00. Other fees will vary for malpractice insurance.
- You may proceed at your own pace through the self study modules with 9 months to complete them.
- You must pass the exam for each model with a grade of 80 percent.
How do I get started?
- You will need a valid nursing license. North Carolina is necessary.
