Welcome to the Southern Regional
Area Health Education Center website for the Family
Medicine Residency Program. This program is the
first official dually-accredited MD and DO Family
Medicine Residency in North Carolina. We are excited
to be training future family physicians and pleased
that you are taking the time to visit us through
this site. The Southern Regional AHEC Family Medicine
Residency Program is a great place to learn and
