Southern Regional AHEC is
recruiting for a full-time Director of
Pharmacy/Medical Continuing Education and Quality
Improvement. This position is responsible for
working with regional practices on quality
improvement and care processes. This position is
also responsible for coordinating continuing
pharmacy and medical education programs. Bachelor’s
degree in nursing or related allied field and a
minimum of two years of quality assurance,
healthcare management or two years of experience in
adult educational programming or teaching required.
Registered Nurse with a master’s degree from an
accredited school of nursing and pre-existing
familiarity with the Model for Improvement
preferred. Some in-state travel. Competitive salary

Requirements:
conscientious, responsible person with medical
office experience and knowledge of CPT/ICD-9 coding,
handling patient accounts, insurance billing, good
customer service skills, and two years experience.

Family Medicine Faculty Position
The Duke/ Southern Regional AHEC
Family Medicine Residency in Fayetteville, NC is
seeking an applicant for a Family Physician faculty
position. Our unopposed dually accredited residency
is well supported by our hospital and our

in teaching and patient care. We practice
obstetrics and manage patients in the intensive care
setting. Candidates should have at least 2 years of
post residency clinical experience with some
