Looking for daytime hours working Monday through Friday in a pleasant working environment?  Then consider the following job opportunities at Southern Regional AHEC.

Mental Health Project Coordinator (2 Openings)(1Full Time position and 1 Part Time/20 hours per week) - Positions responsible for planning/implementing/evaluating evidence based-mental health practices training programs.  Bachelor’s degree required. Masters Degree in Psychology with clinical focus preferred. Related degrees in counseling or social work with appropriate experience considered. Minimum or 2 years direct clinical mental health treatment experience is required. Experience developing training educational programs preferred for both openings.  Experience with tobacco cessation programming preferred for full time opening. Strong interpersonal communication skills, proficiency at managing multiple projects and ability to collaborate with multiple individuals from varying backgrounds and geographic locations required.  Frequent travel within NC required.  .  Competitive salary and benefits.  EOE.  Email, fax or mail resume, along with 3 references as noted below. Accounting Specialist – Payroll - Responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll with an automated payroll system and payroll tax reporting.  Provides administrative support for the Administration and Finance Division, to include grants and routine financial operations.  Maintains organized systems for various contracts, grants, and other programs.  Maintains various databases and creating spread sheets in support of activities.  Performs other administrative duties as assigned.  Requires minimum three years automated payroll processing and accounting/administrative support experience in a professional office environment.  Proficient skills in Excel spreadsheet application, at least intermediate level, and use of automated systems and business application software packages, such as Microsoft Office is required.  Competitive salary and benefits.  EOE. 

Family Physician – Faculty position in our unopposed dually accredited residency is well supported by our hospital and our community.  Our dynamic faculty members take pride in teaching and patient care.  We practice obstetrics and manage patients in the intensive care setting. Candidates should have at least 2 years of post residency clinical experience with some teaching experience preferred.  In addition to excellent fringe benefits and competitive salary, consideration will be given for a clinical appointment at Duke University Medical Center and faculty development fellowship.
